We are seekinmg a skilled Support Team Leader to join their team and services in Blackpool.
The role:
- Lead and manage a team of support workers, ensuring high-quality care and support for individuals with learning disabilities.
Develop and implement person-centred care plans in collaboration with clients and their families.
Conduct regular team meetings and supervisions to promote team cohesion and professional development.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of support services, making adjustments as necessary.
Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
Act as a point of contact for clients, families, and external stakeholders, addressing any concerns or queries.
Support the recruitment, training, and induction of new staff members.
Promote a positive and inclusive culture within the team and the wider organisation.
Ideal Candidate:
- Ideally you will be a strong leader of people, and with experience of leading teams within Supported Living services for adults with learning disabilities.
- Relevant qualifications in Health and Social care (e.g. NVQ Level 3 or above).
- Proficient in personal care and support work for adults.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and build positive relationships.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures.
