Quantity Surveyor

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established contractor delivering a wide range of civil engineering, property maintenance, and commercial projects. This is not a traditional Quantity Surveyor role as it offers a more varied and hands-on experience, ideal for candidates eager to broaden their construction knowledge while working as part of a close-knit, experienced team.

This established contractor delivers a diverse mix of civil engineering, commercial and industrial construction, and property services across the Northwest. Project values range from a few hundred pounds to 250,000, covering everything from renovations, conversions, and extensions to foundations, concrete works, drainage, and landscaping, among more. Due to continued growth and strong demand, they are now looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery and management of projects across the Northwest of England.

In this role, you will support the team in delivering a wide variety of projects across multiple sectors. Key responsibilities will include cost control, procurement, material buying, supporting on-site project oversight, preparing RAMS, estimating, and handling various administrative tasks. Given the unique and varied nature of the role, candidates are not expected to have experience in all these areas, but a strong willingness to learn and develop within a broad construction role is essential.

The ideal candidate will have Quantity Surveying experience, preferably within a commercial or civil engineering background. This is an office and site-based role, located near Blackpool.
