Finlay Jude Associates are recruiting on behalf of a leading company who specialise in providing solutions across the utilities sector. Due to growth this successful company are now looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join the team. The role will be based in the Preston area.

Quantity Surveyor responsibilities:

  • Lead commercial management across AMP8 frameworks
  • Ensure accurate valuation of completed work and drive performance improvements
  • Provide strategic commercial advice and support Early Warning and Compensation Event processes
  • Produce and present monthly CVRs and profit/loss accounts
  • Manage subcontractor relationships and payment cycles
  • Monitor project cash flow and aged debt reporting

Quantity Surveyor requirements:

  • Proven experience in Quantity Surveying, ideally within utilities contracting
  • Working knowledge of NEC contracts
  • Valid UK driving licence
  • Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills
  • Collaborative mindset and attention to detail
