The Norbreck Castle proudly offers the Castles Restaurant as well as three bars: The Conservatory Bar, Copperface Jack鈥檚 & the Java Lounge. The Norbreck is also home to the Norcalympia, a large venue that is the popular choice for conferences, events & wedding receptions. Due to continued expansion, we are looking to recruit a Full Time Bar Manager on the team.
As Bar Manager, you will be required to;
路Take full responsibility for stock and money on the bars.
路Recruit, train, develop and manage all bar staff.
路Ensure all staff work within the confines of the Licensing Law.
路Effectively control stock movement and all money received.
路Create a welcoming environment for customers.
路Ensure consistent, high-quality beverages are served to customers.
路Respond to customer complaints and queries appropriately.
路Ensure the cleanliness of the bar facilities.
路You will be required to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
路Responsible for Duty Manager duties when needed.
The successful candidate will have previous similar experience as a Bars Manager. You must be able to plan, rota and control wage costs within company guidelines. You must be flexible, enthusiastic, and able to build on your experience to assist in the continuing development of the Hotel.
