Position: Pastoral Support Worker

Pay: £85 - £110.89 per day

As a Pastoral Support Worker, you will play a pivotal role in providing essential guidance and care to students within the dynamic school community. Your dedication to nurturing holistic development and fostering a supportive atmosphere will empower students to overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establishing trusting relationships with students, offering empathetic support and guidance.
  • Implementing pastoral strategies to address social, emotional, and behavioural needs effectively.
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and external agencies to provide comprehensive support for students.
  • Monitoring student progress and implementing targeted interventions as necessary.
  • Contributing to the development of a positive school culture where every student feels valued and supported.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a similar pastoral support role within an educational setting is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Flexibility, resilience, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Relevant qualifications or certifications in education, counselling, or social work are desirable.
