The Role
- Provide Leadership for the Maintenance Team across your division.
- Organise workload for Technicians.
- Support problem solving and fault finding.
- Lead improvement and cost reduction activities including root cause analysis with the emphasis on reducing equipment breakdowns.
- Support department hands on as and when required due to workload, holiday, absence etc. Responsible for management of Technician Team including appraisals, monthly 1:1’s and admin duties such as holidays, training, call out cover etc.
The Person
- Must be a time served engineer with supervisory experience in manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Hold HNC in Mechanical or Electrical.
- Experience of maintenance planning.
- Proven Leadership / Management experience
- Experience in a high-quality focused environment.
- Experience of Lean tools and methodologies.
