Our client is a specialist manufacturing company. Due to investment, they are now looking to recruit a Maintenance Supervisor.

The Role

  • Provide Leadership for the Maintenance Team across your division.
  • Organise workload for Technicians.
  • Support problem solving and fault finding.
  • Lead improvement and cost reduction activities including root cause analysis with the emphasis on reducing equipment breakdowns.
  • Support department hands on as and when required due to workload, holiday, absence etc. Responsible for management of Technician Team including appraisals, monthly 1:1’s and admin duties such as holidays, training, call out cover etc.

The Person

  • Must be a time served engineer with supervisory experience in manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Hold HNC in Mechanical or Electrical.
  • Experience of maintenance planning.
  • Proven Leadership / Management experience
  • Experience in a high-quality focused environment.
  • Experience of Lean tools and methodologies.
