The right person should have at least 2 years’ experience working in a UK based practice including managing clients (and in doing so preparing their full accounts) as well as supporting junior team members ideally. They must be experienced in completing year-end accounts, reviewing other people’s work and have a friendly can-do attitude.
Duties will involve:
- Evaluating financial statements and tax calculations
- Preparing detailed management accounts
- Preparing accounts for non-audit clients
- Supporting on VAT return preparation
- Business development and attracting new clients to the business where possible
- Meeting potential new clients, sending proposals and helping on board new clients
