Our partner school in Bolton is seeking an Upper Key Stage 2 teacher to join their school from September! This role is open to ECTs as well and may become permanent.

The school believes in developing children into interested and interesting learners due to their engaging lessons and a high level of questioning. The school strives to make the curriculum creative, engaging and fun for all, building on prior knowledge and filling any gaps in learning.

In the latest Ofsted report, the school was described as having positive and happy children who aspire to be the best they can be and interact with each other in a respectful manner. The school is well resourced with dedicated reading areas and outdoor learning spaces.

As an Upper Key Stage 2 teacher, you should possess strong communication skills and a thorough understanding of the Primary School Curriculum. Previous knowledge of Power Maths and a mastery approach would be beneficial as well as Talk for Writing. The school provides opportunities for CPD as well as subject workshops to build staff knowledge and ensure a cohesive approach across the school.

The competitive rate of pay is £140 - £200 per day, subject to experience.

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Have QTS or QTLS status
  • Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
  • Previous experience with KS2 classes
