Adaptable Recruitment are delighted to be working exclusively with this family owned Liverpool based business, as they seek to hire a Senior HR Manager to strengthen their Executive team and work towards a journey of transformation.

The role will be based at the head office in Liverpool, and you will visit other sites across the UK on an ad hoc basis.

You will be a CIPD qualified, experienced HR professional with a broad range of experience from employment law to recruitment and retention.

Salary/benefits:

Role Duties:

  • Working with the Head of Group Support services to implement an HR strategy to support the corporate strategy, developing plans and objectives to ensure delivery

  • Develop policies and procedures mirroring an investor in people or similar accreditation to attract and retain talent

  • Work with the executive team to respond to the changing external environment, identifying appropriate opportunities and evolving internal priorities through programmes of organisational transformation, culture change, and colleague engagement.

  • Be responsible for the HR management of the senior executive team & other sensitive HR issues as required

  • Be responsible for appropriate HR systems to record time and attendance, working with the Finance department to bring together timely payroll information.

  • Ensure best practice frameworks are in place for sourcing talent, developing colleagues potential and providing mandatory and statutory training.

  • Advise on pay, benefits and other remuneration issues, ensuring that the total reward strategy supports colleague engagement and performance.

Experience/qualifications required:
  • CIPD level 7 qualified
  • At least 5 years of senior leadership experience
  • Fully up to date employment law knowledge
  • Experience of dealing with change management processes and organisational development
  • Knowledge of payroll
