- Contact with customers via telephone and email to discuss any queries on orders.
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure information is kept up to date and understand the availability of products.
- Accurate customer order entry and professional quotes
- Produce proformas.
- Export paperwork.
- File transactions in an efficient, orderly system.
- Provide customers with technical information.
- Liaise with warehouse/production staff
- Liaise with transport and third-party carriers to ensure customer delivery expectations are met
- Produce despatch documentation and ensure all relevant information is despatched with goods
- Liaise with customers regarding delivery expectations.
- Filing of customer orders, despatch notes and proof of deliveries
- Other reasonable tasks as may be required by the company.
- First class telephone and communication skills
- PC literate
- Professional, friendly, sympathetic to customer need
- The ability to be a strong and accurate administrator
- Ability to work under pressure and cope with constantly changing priorities.
- Previous employment in Customer Services or similar environment
- Able to absorb information and to learn fast.
