Main Responsibilities of a DevOps and Cloud Engineer
- Quickly grasp and comprehend the existing hybrid setup to play a crucial part in devising the Azure Cloud migration strategy.
- Offer insights into cloud-native architecture and implementation choices.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to enhance and streamline our clients automation workflows.
- Embrace new projects by assisting in defining scope, designing, and documenting technically, while keeping key stakeholders informed on progress and ensuring timely project completion.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Identify opportunities for integrating new technologies into our clients automated workflows to enhance efficiency in their build and release cycles.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of our clients web infrastructure in Azure as part of their cloud migration, leveraging cloud-native solutions such as ingress.
- Develop Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and templates tailored for Azure PaaS containerised services.
- Collaborate with development teams, database administrators (DBAs), architects, and cloud partners to architect, plan, and construct infrastructure aligned with business needs.
- Create and maintain technical documentation to support migration to the cloud.
- Establish consistent and automated local environments, DevOps practices and tools like Docker and Azure DevOps.
- Partner with data scientists and machine learning (ML) engineers to deploy ML models on Azure.
