Job Details
To carry out functional and user acceptance tests for Policy processes and change. Identifying what needs to be tested, creating test scripts and any necessary data scenarios. This will include identifying defects, logging and correcting prior to go live. Reviewing business specifications, providing input for requirements, assisting with testing estimations and providing technical support. Attending Launch and Project meetings/conference calls and to liaise with both internal departments and external clients to understand the requirements of the new/post launch activities. An element of this role will also include assisting the wider Business Operations team with system set up tasks when required.

- Ensure all new launches and projects are managed effectively
- Carry out end to end user acceptance testing
- Managing and reporting test results and defects
- Analyse and Investigate defects and issues
- Creating and maintaining test documents/scripts
- Writing and Executing test cases for functional/acceptance and regression testing
- Working alongside IT and project development teams
- Reading and understanding Business Specifications and requirements in order to create test scenarios and documentation
- Logging defects via defect reporting tools, managing the progression and carrying out re tests
- Monitoring test results and communicating as necessary
- Maintain existing test scripts, keeping them up to date and accurate
- Responsible for validating changes/requests, investigating the root cause through analysis and communicating to the business
- To act to deliver good outcomes for retail customers whilst delivering a higher standard of customer care and enabling consumers to make effective decisions in their interests.
- To assist the Business Operations Analysts in product and letter set up tasks when required.
- Experience of working in a testing background, producing test scripts, reporting defects and carrying out functional tests
