The Property Litigation Paralegal's roleThe successful Property Litigation Paralegal will support the wider legal team in managing a varied and high-volume caseload, with a particular focus on lender support and recovery actions. Responsibilities will include assisting in County Court and High Court litigation processes, preparing legal documentation, carrying out legal research, and managing case files from inception through to completion. The Property Litigation Paralegal will also gain exposure to professional negligence claims, indemnity matters with the Land Registry, and mortgage possession proceedings.
This role offers a hands-on experience in complex property litigation work and would suit an individual with a meticulous approach and a genuine interest in property and real estate disputes.
The Property Litigation Paralegal- At least 2 years' experience as a paralegal within property litigation or a similar legal field.
- A law degree or equivalent legal qualification is essential; LPC or SQE1 is highly desirable.
- Experience supporting litigation files through the court process, ideally with lender or possession-based matters.
- Strong drafting and legal research skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A proactive attitude with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Competitive salary between £28,000 - £35,000 (dependent on experience).
