£24,500 + Pension + Parking

An energetic Purchasing Assistant is required to join a successful local organisation who are currently expanding and need support within their busy Procurement Department.

Some of your duties will include:

- Providing all-round support for the Purchasing Manager and assisting with daily activities

- Building effective relationships with suppliers and monitoring their performance levels

- Processing stock orders onto computer system and forwarding to management team for authorisation

- Ensuring all goods purchased are to specification in terms of quality, quantity and delivery

- Scheduling delivery times with suppliers and preparing all necessary purchase order documentation

- Maintaining accurate computerized stock records and recording details of stock movement
