A well-known and highly regarded independent estate agent dealing in the areas of Borehamwood and Elstree, are seeking a full or part time (30hrs a week) Lettings Administrator/Property Manager to join their friendly team. We take pride in delivering a high standard of service, and individuals will be intelligent communicators, capable of building relationships with fellow staff, Landlords, Tenants, and Contractors alike to deliver an excellent customer service.

The role requires a minimum of 1-year of lettings administrator or property management experience.

The candidates will have:

Job description bullet points:

  • Assist with drafting AST’s and tenancy documents.
  • Prepare all compliance documentation and works required to comply with legal requirements.
  • Manage the end-to end- referencing process with the team, progressing the tenancy from holding deposit paid to completion.
  • Ensure compliance: Adhere to legal requirements, conduct Right to Rent checks abiding by regulations governing tenant referencing.
  • Organise and negotiate tenancy renewals.
  • Negotiate with landlords and tenants to agree rents.
  • Manage and administrate deposit protections.
  • Effectively deal with administrative work, accurately and on time.
  • Deal with and assisting the team with property repair issues.
  • Effectively communicate back to tenants and landlords with updates regarding any questions.
  • Being able to organise checks on properties between tenants and contactors in case any issues occur.
  • Confidently and effectively handle calls (inbound and outbound) to gain information and establish facts in a professional manner.
  • Have meticulous accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Have professional manner and appearance.
  • Initiative to work on your own.
  • Salary commensurate with experience.
