Compliance Manager, Block Property Management

Overview, Compliance Manager, Block Property Management

·To lead with building/fire safety matters, helping with the adaptation of our operations and processes to meet the needs of a changing landscape and new legal requirements with the support of the Head of Technical Services

·Keep up to date on industry changes and mitigate risks. liaising with specialist consultants where necessary.

·Assist and create residents’ engagement strategies in line with the Building Safety Act

·To ensure compliance processes are in place to provide assurance of fully compliant

·Review and enhance the Compliance procedure to keep ahead of the clients' requirements.

·Manage and enhance the existing templates and keep up to date as needed.

·Regularly review forthcoming industry changes

·Provide regular updates of activities whilst systems are implemented.

·To coordinate an integrated compliance framework and assist with solutions for improvement.

Responsibilities, Compliance Manager, Block Property Management

·Develop contractual relationship and services provided by specialist Health & Safety and Fire Safety consultants.

·Assist functional managers in compliance strategies and review the progress of compliance activities.

·Review and update the Building Safety Tracker

·Review and update Building Safety Fund Applications

·Lead, Support and guide with external wall system/cladding remediation projects.

·Support managers in obtaining risk mitigation funding where available.

·Assist and update compliance related procurement e.g., fire doors / risk assessments.

·Review and ensure all blocks have up to date H&S and FRA including appropriate signage.

·Verify all blocks have up to date H&S and FRA including appropriate signage.

Skills, Compliance Manager, Block Property Management

·Excellent knowledge of property management principles and procedures.

·Good understanding of the fire safety and building safety act

·Excellent communication skills

·Good understanding of Fire/Building safety legalisation

·Develop and implement strategies, systems, and policies.
