Interaction Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Yard Operative for an well established builders merchant based in Borehamwood. The successful candidate will come from a builders merchant environment and will join on a temp2perm basis.
The Working Hours: Monday to Friday 7:30am to 5:00pm
Pay Rate: £11.44 per hour + Holiday Pay
This role involves:
- picking orders
- keeping the yard area safe, tidy and organised
- operating counterbalance & combi side-loader (training provided if needed)
- loading and unloading company and customer vehicles
- helping customers who come in to the yard
To be considered for this role you must have / be:
- previously worked in a Yard Operative role in a Builders Merchant environment
- previous experience using a counterbalance or side-loader forklift is preferred but not essential
- physically fit and able to lift heavy items
- fluent English speaking
- either living in Borehamwood or easily able to commute
- looking for a full-time permanent role
- reliable and hard-working
