We're currently seeking a talented Site Manager to join a reputable Tier 1 contractor based in Coalville. This company boasts an impressive turnover of around 600 million and has solidified their order book for the next couple of years, with the East Midlands region alone turning over approximately 100 million.
Key Details:
- Location: East Midlands region
- Sectors: Education, Leisure, Healthcare, MOD, High Residential
- Projects: Range from 5 million to 50 million
Role Overview:
As a Site Manager, you will be working as a number 2 on a 10 million Education project in Lincoln. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a highly respected contractor on diverse and challenging projects.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day site operations
- Ensure projects are delivered within budget and on schedule
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders
- Maintain a safe working environment and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Provide regular progress reports to project stakeholders
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager in the construction industry
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Relevant qualifications such as SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid at Work are desirable
