Our esteemed client are embarking on a significant Public Realm scheme in Lincoln, focusing on roads and drainage enhancements. To ensure the success of this project, we are seeking a skilled General Foreman to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
路Oversee and coordinate day-to-day operations on-site, ensuring work progresses efficiently and safely.
路Manage a team of workers, subcontractors, and suppliers, delegating tasks effectively to meet project deadlines.
路Implement and enforce strict health and safety standards, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
路Liaise with stakeholders and members of the public, maintaining positive relationships and addressing any concerns promptly and professionally.
路Monitor site progress, reporting to project managers and providing regular updates on milestones and challenges.
路Ensure quality standards are met throughout the project, conducting inspections and addressing any issues promptly.
Requirements:
路Proven experience as a General Foreman, preferably in infrastructure or construction projects.
路Experience working on public-facing projects, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
路Strong knowledge of roads and drainage works, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
路Valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certificate.
路Valid First Aid certification.
路Excellent leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
路Strong problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to resolving issues on-site.
路Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines.
