Are you a dedicated and organised individual with a passion for making a difference in the lives of others? Our client, is seeking an Administrator to join their team in Bournemouth.

In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of duties including answering calls, updating systems with information, running reports, typing letters, and more. Due to the nature of the people being dealt with (families in crisis, social workers, pupils with special needs/emotional support needs), having experience in Special Educational Needs (SEN) or Emotional Literacy Support Assistance (ELSA) would be an advantage.

Location: Bournemouth

Duration: Temporary, Monday 3rd June to Friday 19th July

Salary: £12ph

Hours: 8.30am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday

As this is working within a school, you will require an Enhanced DBS for this role. If you do not have one already in place, we can process this for you.

Our client is offering a competitive hourly rate of £12 and the working hours are from 8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday, starting from Monday, 3rd June to Friday, 19th July. This is a temporary position with potential for further employment opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answering incoming calls and providing assistance as required
  • Updating information in the system accurately and efficiently
  • Running reports and analysing data to support decision-making processes
  • Typing letters and correspondence with attention to detail
  • Liaising with families, social workers, and pupils to provide necessary support
  • Handling difficult situations with empathy and professionalism

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in administration or a similar role
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with systems and databases used for data entry and reporting
  • Ideally SEN experience
  • Ability to work under pressure and navigate challenging situations with composure
  • Enhanced DBS clearance is required for this position
