REED Recruitment (Accountancy and Finance) are recruiting for a FULLY REMOTE Opportunity working for a Management Accountancy business experiencing growth in their chosen field. This position is available for Full Time or Part Time Candidates (25 - 30 hours).

Bookkeeper

Salary: Competitive (up to £30,000 per annum) Location: Remote Job Type: Full-time/Part-timeDay-to-day of the role: • Managing the Sales Ledger, including raising invoices and issuing customer statements.• Handling the Purchase Ledger by filing and posting invoices and receipts, and reconciling supplier accounts.• Conducting daily bank reconciliations and assisting with managing cash flow forecasts.• Supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts.• Assisting with VAT returns and payroll processes.• Performing other general bookkeeping tasks.• Assisting with HR tasks, such as maintaining employee records on HR systems, creating contracts, and keeping policies and handbooks up to date.• Undertaking general office duties, including organising client and staff events, ordering office equipment, maintaining office records, and other general administrative duties.Required Skills & Qualifications: • At least one year’s prior experience in an accountancy-based role.• Proficiency in using Xero and QuickBooks is ESSENTIAL as well as experience in areas of the duties above • Experience understanding VAT Rules • Experience with Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger• Confident to manage a portfolio of clients, ability to work quickly with excellent attention to detail • Ability to work independently with a proactive approach to problem-solving.• Excellent communication skills and not afraid to seek advice or assistance when needed.• Must have the Right to Work in the UK (sponsorship cannot be provided).Benefits: • Competitive remuneration package.• Flexibility with full-time or part-time hours.• Fully remote working arrangement.• Opportunity to work within a dynamic and supportive team.Please only apply if you have practical experience using XERO and QUICKBOOKS, understand VAT Rules, Bank Reconciliations and experience with Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger) This is an ESSENTIAL Requirement for this Remote role.
