Chief Operating Officer

Chief Operating Officer - Bournemouth - up to £80k

As the COO (Chief Operating Officer), your role is crucial in managing both the strategic direction and daily functions across multiple departments, essentially acting as a business manager. This entails overseeing 7 department heads, handling finances, IT, HR, marketing, compliance, and administration. Additionally, you'll provide guidance and implement support systems to ensure smooth operations, allowing the leadership team to focus on teaching and learning.

Your ability to think strategically and understand business needs will be essential in driving financial sustainability and operational efficiency to support the company's continued growth.

What we're looking for:

• Proficient in financial management with keen attention to detail.
• Skilled in using accountancy software and communication.
• Strong communicator, able to inspire and build relationships.
• Sound understanding of data protection and confidentiality.
• Effective communication abilities, both verbal and written, with strong interpersonal skill
• Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with staff and various stakeholders.
• Experience in line management and contributing to staff development

Hours & Benefits:

• 33 days holiday including bank holidays, additional after service.
