Job Title: Lead Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Location: Bournemouth (Static Role)
Salary: 38,000 - 44,000 per annum
About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our client's facilities maintenance team in Bournemouth. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional to lead electrical maintenance activities, ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our client's facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the electrical maintenance team, providing guidance and support to ensure high standards of work.
- Oversee the maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical systems and equipment within the facility.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues promptly to maintain operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and address any maintenance-related concerns.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to optimize productivity and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment for all staff.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, preferably in a facilities maintenance setting.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, maintenance practices, and safety regulations.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds 18th Edition).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders.
