The Purpose
As the Environmental, Health & Safety Manager you will lead on our client’s commitment to safety and sustainability. Reporting directly into the General Manager, you will be pivotal in the preparation of quality control programs and manuals, as well as ensuring compliance with their Hazardous Waste Management program in line with OHSA standards.

As Environmental, Health & Safety Manager your responsibilities include:
- Implementing and rolling out the Health & Safety policy across the company
- Maintaining and improving the EHS Management systems in line with UK and EU legislative requirements
- Ensuring that the global performance targets and KPI’s are achieved and continuously improved upon
- Constantly evaluating legislative requirements to ensure that sufficient controls are in place
- Developing and implementing systems in line with maintenance of the current OHSA 18001 certification
- Identifying and delivering employee training in relation to Health & Safety
As Environmental, Health & Safety Manager your Skills and Experience will include:
- certIOSH or NEBOSH qualified
- ISO 14001 and 45001
- Previous experience within a manufacturing/engineering environment
- Environmental Training qualification
- Good communication skills and the ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders
- Natural ability to lead and motivate
