What will the HR Advisor role involve?
- Provide first-line HR advice to managers and employees on policies, employee relations, and best practice
- Coordinate new starter processes, inductions, and onboarding, as well as manage leaver processes, including exit interviews
- Produce and manage HR reports, including regular updates for senior stakeholders
- Oversee the full recruitment process, coordinating interviews, and preparing offers and contracts
- Ensure all job descriptions and person specifications are accurate and kept up to date
- Lead on annual reviews of the staff handbook, HR policies, and templates to ensure compliance with employment legislation
- Actively monitor absence cases and conduct return-to-work interviews
- Coordinate the performance appraisal process and employee engagement initiatives
Suitable candidate for the HR Advisor vacancy:
- CIPD Level 5 qualification (or working towards) with proven experience in a generalist HR role
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices
- Excellent administration and organisational skills with high attention to detail
- Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships at all levels
- Proactive and flexible, with a solutions-focused mindset
- Strong IT skills and experience managing HR systems and reporting
