Job Type: Flexible Agency Cover Prospero Health and Social Care are supporting reputable charity dedicated to providing essential support to adults with learning difficulties. Our mission is to empower individuals to lead fulfilling lives by maximising their independence and assisting them in daily tasks and enjoyable activities. We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Agency Support Workers to join our team on a flexible basis within our Supported Living services. As an Agency Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to work on a temporary basis, providing crucial support to our service users as and when required. Responsibilities:

  • Provide person-centred support tailored to the individual needs of service users.
  • Assist with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
  • Support service users in accessing community resources and engaging in social and recreational activities.
  • Promote independence and autonomy by encouraging decision-making and skill development.
  • Maintain accurate records of support provided and report any concerns or incidents promptly.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and external professionals to ensure the holistic well-being of service users.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar support role preferred, but not essential.
  • Right to work in the UK (Required)
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach towards individuals with learning difficulties.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexible availability to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
  • Commitment to upholding the values and ethos of the charity.
