Primary Learning Support Assistant

Position: Learning Support Assistant
Hourly Rate: £12.82 per hour
Location: Bournemouth and Christchurch
Start Date: Immediately/Summer-Term/September Starts

GSL Education are looking for passionate Learning Support Assistants based in Bournemouth or Christchurch to support the class teacher and pupils in local mainstream primary schools.  

THE IDEAL LEARNING SUPPORT ASSISTANT:

• Must be a patient, reliable and proactive
• Be able to work well in a team
• Be able to adapt to the needs of the individual pupils
• Have experience working either 1:1 with children, or in small groups

THE LEARNING SUPPORT ASSISTANT ROLE:

• Collaborating with classroom teachers to facilitate effective lesson delivery.
• Providing individualised support to students with varying learning and emotional needs.
• Contributing to the maintenance of a safe and inclusive learning environment.
• Building positive relationships with students, parents, and fellow staff members.

DETAILS:

• Position - Learning Support Assistant
• Type of work – Small group and 1:1 sessions
• Full time/part time 
• Pay: £12.82 per hour
• Hours - 8:30– 15:30
