Job Title: Vehicle Technician

Salary: 28,000 -38,000 DOE + OTE

I am seeking vehicle technicians of all levels who possess a minimum Level 2 certificate in light vehicles. As a vehicle technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure their optimal performance and safety.

Responsibilities:

Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles.
Conduct vehicle inspections to identify any potential problems.
Follow manufacturer's guidelines and recommendations for repairs and maintenance.
Keep accurate records of all work performed on vehicles.
Perform MOT tests in accordance with regulatory requirements and company procedures.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues efficiently.
Utilise diagnostic equipment and technical manuals to identify and resolve vehicle problems.
Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used.
Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers regarding vehicle issues and recommended repairs.

Experience essential for this role:

Minimum Level 2 certificate in light vehicles.
Proven experience as a vehicle technician.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity.
Previous experience as a vehicle technician, ideally within a main dealership
Flexible approach to work and willingness to adapt to changing priorities
Must hold a full valid UK driving licence
