Position: CNC Setter/Operator / CNC Miller

Location: Brackley, Northamptonshire

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent, Late shift

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday - Thursday 4.30pm to 2.30am, 10-hour shift.

Salary: Dependent on experience plus 20% shift allowance.

The role:

CNC Milling Setting and Operating Reporting to the CNC Manager and working in a small team you will be required to set up and run 5axis CNC machines. Working from set up sheets generated from Powermill and downloading the relevant programmes.

Machine details: 2 CMS ARES and 1 CMS Antares.

Key Accountabilities & Experience:

  • Machining of patterns, moulds and component trimming for carbon fibre components.
  • A variety of parts and materials machined.
  • Experience in using CMS Fanuc controls would be good but not essential.
  • You will need to have experience in working to a high level of accuracy and tight deadlines with minimum supervision.
  • It would be an advantage to have a recognised apprenticeship and have gained a btec qualification (or equivalent).
