Chemical Technician

We are seeking a Chemical Technician to join our client's Research & Development department. This role involves performing industry-specific laboratory tests, completing preliminary analysis, and recording data to support R&D projects. The ideal candidate will have a background in lab work or chemistry and be committed to maintaining safety and quality standards.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Conduct laboratory tests and assist in test development.
  • Analyze results, prepare reports, and communicate findings.
  • Operate and maintain test equipment, ensuring accurate results.
  • Manage lab inventory and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
  • Engage in continuous learning to support activities.
  • Blend and analyze components to determine properties.
  • Independently perform non-standardized lab procedures.
  • Maintain ISO documentation and participate in related activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • BSc Chemistry (or closely related subject)  with demonstrated lab and/or chemistry training.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and project management abilities.
  • Innovative mindset with a drive for breakthrough solutions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and understanding of safe lab practices.
