Join our dynamic marketing team as a Marketing and Events Assistant, where you will play a pivotal role in supporting our marketing and sales efforts through efficient administrative tasks. Your responsibilities will include assisting with promotional campaigns, trade exhibitions and events, and customer engagement. Additionally, you’ll contribute to our online presence by supporting social media activities and website updates.
Exciting work you will be doing:Â
- Manage day-to-day delivery of services, optimising resource utilisation.
- Distribute leads generated from websites and campaigns to relevant departments.
- Generate interest by reaching out to targeted groups.
- Maintain and update customer records within CRM.
- Process purchase orders and issue sales transaction invoices.
- Prepare status reports for the marketing department, including social media metrics.
- Assist in project planning for events for all business units, from conception to execution.
- Handle administrative tasks and logistics for successful event delivery.
- Support the marketing team by creating and updating digital content on various social media platforms.
- Assist with finalising sponsorship agreements under the guidance of the Marketing Performance Officer.
- Liaise with external vendors and suppliers for marketing materials, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Help to manage marketing webinars, including participant sign -ups, ensuring venue/platform requirements are met.
- Maintain records related to event delivery and follow-up.
- Any other duties that commensurate with the role
Skills required:Â
- At least one (1) year of experience in a similar marketing role (Desirable)
- Event Management experience (Desirable)
- Willingness to travel, nationally and internationally.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Customer service orientated.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or NVQ in marketing, communications, business, or related field (desirable) or equivalent experience.
