Our well known clientare seeking a skilled and experienced Fencer to join the team. As a Lead Fencer, you will be responsible for the installation of a variety of fencing systems on predominantly new build housing sites.

The systems you will be required to install are closeboard fencing, gates, sheds, ranch fencing, palisade fencing and hoarding.

Duties:
- Install and repair fences using a variety of construction techniques
- Measure and mark fence lines according to specifications
- Dig post holes and set posts securely in the ground
- Cut, shape, and install fence materials such as wood, vinyl, chain-link, or metal
- Use power tools and hand tools to complete fencing projects
- Ensure fences are level, straight, and structurally sound
- Repair or replace damaged or worn-out fence components
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on time
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Fencer or similar role
- Proficiency in working with various fencing materials such as wood, vinyl, chain-link, or metal
- Knowledge of construction techniques related to fence installation and repair
- Ability to read blueprints or fence plans is preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues on-site
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor and lift heavy materials if required
- Valid driver's license is preferred but not required

Setting out of fence lines.

Materials requirements.

General organization of day to day operations.

Physically fit and dexterous.

Ability to operate the appropriate tools and equipment.

Capacity to fulfill your duties independently an on time.

Ability to direct a fencer working on your instructions as your nr.2
