Do you have experience in order management from initial placing of order through to delivery? Join our client's team in Bracknell as a Sales Administrator!

You will be a key member of the team, managing quotes and orders, handling customer queries and coordinating shipments. You will be successful in this role if you are someone with a can-do attitude and driven by a commercial mindset.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing quotes and pricing options to new and existing clients
  • Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers for effective tracking of orders and delivery status
  • Compiling and dispatching orders with agreed pricing, confirmations and tracking information
  • Analysing and verifying invoices
  • Overseeing stock order and backorders management
  • Communicating frequently with the warehouse team to ensure accuracy of orders
  • Recognising and documenting new business opportunities
  • Generating supplier goods receipt notes and overseeing the return shipment
  • Answering incoming calls and directing them appropriately

Skills and experience:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft packages including Excel, Word, Outlook (essential)
  • Knowledge of using an order management system (desirable)
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced sales administrator role
  • Precise attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • A commercial mindset
