We're working with a leading specialist manufacturer to recruit a Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Manager for their Liverpool operation. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of all HSE matters on site and play a central role in ongoing safety and environmental improvements.
Key responsibilities of the Health, Safety and Environment Manager include:
- Championing a proactive safety culture through positive engagement across the site
- Delivering HSE-related training and supporting team development on health, safety, and environmental matters
- Maintaining compliance with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards
- Overseeing risk assessments, supporting investigations, and delivering relevant HSE training
The ideal Health, Safety and Environment Manager will have:
- Proven experience in a hands-on HSE management role, ideally within automotive, plastics, engineering, or a similar industrial setting
- NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) as a minimum
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build trust across all levels
