Based near Bradford, this is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned BDM with experience within Cargo, Logistics or Shipping to take the next step in their career and join a company who place an incredible amount of importance on the progression of their employees.

Main Duties:
- Performing forecasts in support of annual budgets in relation to your accounts and to support the wider team budget.
- Seek out appropriate contacts within customer organisations.
- Meet with customers either face to face and or via electronic means as needed.
- Developing and managing your sales funnel and opportunities through to bid win.
- Use sound strategic methods and thinking to support the company’s wider aims and goals.
- Discuss, guide and contribute to marketing activities.
- Work with the existing sales team to help grow and develop our business through achieving long term positive client relationships.
- Promote company products and technologies to deliver value to the customer while optimising our profitability.
- Communicate with internal/external customers whenever changes occur that may affect their requirements.
- Resolve conflicts and provide timely and successful solutions to internal/external customers as required.
- Completion of performance reports, metrics and monitor in line with company objectives (e.g. on a regular basis as needed ).
- Exercise ownership in performance of duties. Seek problem resolutions using appropriate resources in a timely manner while minimizing cost impact to the company.
- Support additional sales activities such as exhibitions, events and site tours where applicable.
Requirements:
- Eligible to live and work in the UK.
- Ability to travel circa 60% as some overseas training and site visits may be required for training, exhibitions, management meetings.
- Experience within heavy automotive, Transport or Logistics sector.
- Full Clean UK driving licence.
- Self-motivated and able to thrive in a result driven environment.
- Integrity, reliability and maturity.
