My client is a market leading in bringing together consumers seeking financial advice and advice firms looking to grow their business with a Business Development Manager in their Leeds office. My client is partnered with some of the largest financial advice firms in the UK and have a reputation of introducing exceptional leads through their cutting-edge marketing process.

About The RoleThe Business Development Manager will support my clients business strategy, focusing on maintaining and enhancing client relationships, aiding in the expansion of partnerships, and driving the exploration and delivery of new business opportunities that align with their growth-oriented business model. Reporting directly to the Head of Business Development, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the company's business development efforts, utilizing their established reputation and working collaboratively within their Commercial & Partnership team. This role will be instrumental in executing the strategic directives set by senior leadership, ensuring alignment with the company's overarching goals.

Key ResponsibilitiesDelivering New Business Opportunities: Proactively drive new partner growth across the financial markets through identifying new partnerships, engaging communication and foster relationships to support business growth through partner portfolio expansion.Implementation of Business Strategies: Help implement strategies developed by senior management, ensuring they are executed effectively and align with the company's objectives.Client Relationship Management: Maintain and enhance relationships with existing clients, ensuring consistent communication and high levels of service delivery.Reporting and Feedback: Regularly report on progress and outcomes of business development activities to the Head of Business Development, and suggest improvements based on practical experiences.Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with other teams within the company, such as marketing and sales, to ensure a unified approach to business development.Project Management: Manage and oversee specific business development projects, ensuring they meet deadlines and budgets set by senior management.QualificationsSkills, Knowledge and ExpertiseEssentialBachelor's in Business Administration, Finance or Marketing or a related field (or qualified by experience)DesirableLevel 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial PlanningExperienceEssential

  • Proven Experience in Business Development: Extensive track record in business development, particularly within financial services or a related industry.
  • Client Relationship Management: Demonstrable experience in managing and growing client relationships at a senior level.
  • Industry Knowledge: Good understanding of financial services and an awareness of digital marketing within a regulated environment.
