A global supplying Pressure Equipment manufacturer in the West Yorkshire region are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to assist in the growth of their Engineering department. This company specialise in bespoke solutions to the Water, Industrial, Marine, Pharma and Defence sectors.
You’ll report directly to the Engineering Director and work closely with the Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to design and develop complex pressure related systems. This will include 3D modelling, detailed design, BOM’s, liaising with customers and overseeing your designs into manufacture.
As this company are part of a wider manufacturing group with global outreach, there will be numerous opportunities for further training, development and progression.

Mechanical Design Engineer Requirements:
- HNC/D or Degree in an Engineering discipline
- 3D CAD – Inventor
- Experience with Pressure & Process Equipment Design (Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, HVAC, Piping Systems, Plant Rooms, Skid Packages etc.)
- Stainless Steel
- P&ID’s
- Engineering & Pressure Calculations (Desirable)
- Remote & Flexible Working
