Our client in the Bradford area is looking for a Mechanical Assembler to join their shop floor.
As the Mechanical Assembler your duties will include;
- Work safely as an individual and as part of a team in a physically demanding role.
- Work as an individual or part of a team to ensure on time delivery to both internal and external customers.
- Mark out, drill and fit equipment to layouts.
- Must be able to read and work to Bills of materials, Standard operating procedures and assembly drawings.
- Be competent to torque power connections.
- Work to instructions both verbal and written.
- Work to process standards and operating procedures.
- Capable of highlighting potential issues and suggesting rational corrective/preventative actions.
- Capable and willing to transfer skills and knowledge to colleagues.
- Responsible for achieving required output including productivity, Quality and attendance.
- Operate KanBan stock.
The ideal candidate will have good experience of mechanical assembly within a manufacturing environment; however other mechanical disciplines are also suitable.
You will work standard days, Monday to Friday, with core hours being 8am-4pm, but they also offer flexi hours.

Depending on experience the Mechanical Assembler will receive a salary of up to £25k
