Location: Bradford, although there will be a hybrid working arrangement in place, with 3 x days working in the office and 1 x day working from home 
 

Working pattern: We have a permanent, full time opportunity available working 37 hours per week covering a 4 on 4 off shift patterns between the hours of 6:00am - 9:00pm Monday – Sunday.

 Where you fit in:
 

As Resource & Asset Planner you will manage a variety of processes simultaneously, primarily relating to customers (and their expectations) and understand the relative importance of competing priorities so that business risks are managed, compliance is not compromised, and decisions are taken to maximise the achievement of business and customer targets.
 

You will manage customer contacts received by direct liaison with customers through Jeopardy Management of business priorities and customer commitments across a range of processes, protocols and systems to minimise customer/environmental impact. 

You will identify potential incidents, co-ordinate response and ensure all relevant parties are communicated with especially the front-line resources and oversee operational performance and support Customer Field Services to ensure that appropriate staffing levels are achieved.
 

Given that we operate within a regulated and demanding environment of constantly fluctuating workloads, you will be be able to demonstrate a flexible but determined approach and an ability to cope under pressure.

What skills and qualifications you will need -
 

• Experience of managing customers and resolving their issues
• Previous scheduling or planning experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to build up effective working relationships with a range of people, as your role will involve day to day liaison with a wide range of internal teams and external contractors.
• Experience of supporting and embedding change, able to influence and drive the right culture and -behaviours.
• You will be able to demonstrate the ability to work in a team and under your own initiative.
• Planning ability - identifying priorities and actions to assist in delivering results
• Ability to meet strict deadlines and maintain flexibility
• Able to anticipate problems, understand cause and effect and identify practical solutions.
• Develop and deploy reporting requirements necessary to support customers and Yorkshire Water and investigate any reporting anomalies
• Previous experience in a regulated environment or within the broader utilities, process or manufacturing industry sectors would be beneficial
• Previous experience using workforce management tools or equivalent to schedule large number of resources across multiple disciplines and complex geography would be advantageous for the role
