Fast Paced Food Manufacturing CompanyRole; Health Safety Environment ManagerBased in BradfordReporting to the Site ManagerExclusively representing an impressive and iconic, British food manufacturing company to source a HSE Manager to take the lead for Health Safety and Environment across a complex manufacturing facility, which operated 24/7 local to Bradford, West Yorkshire. Seeking an experienced, hands on and people centric professional who is driven and looking to progress within a large company. Salary and Package: £52,500 - £55,000 per annumCar allowance £5,000 car allowance ( per annum) Up to 15% BonusPension up to 7.5%Main Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for all Health, Safety and Environmental requirements on site, including policies and procedures providing support on site and offering simple and practical SHE solutions within a timely manner.
  • Key person within the senior leadership team
  • Ensure site compliance and encourage continuous improvement
  • Investigate all accidents and incidents, ensuring root cause is achieved and to ensure effective actions are undertaken to prevent recurrence
  • Co-ordinate and positively manage internal and external stakeholder relationships
  • Responsible for site SHE budgets
  • Support the site on their cultural maturity journey, engaging and empowering the wider workforce
  • Present HSE updates on a Weekly/Monthly/annual basis, develop and drive Improvement programmes and progression against actions
Essential qualifications, skills, and experience:
  • NEBOSH Certificate as a minimum with upwards of 2 years industry experience
  • General manufacturing or logistics experience but ideally within the Food, Beverage or Paper or Packaging industry

  • Hands on and approachable
  • Able to collaborate, influence, gain buy -in with strong communication skills
