My client is looking for a 2nd Line Application Support Engineer to join their busy support desk. This is a great opportunity to join a closeknit team that can offer a role with great technical exposure and future opportunities to grow and further your career internally! You will be hands on with tickets, calls, escalations and plenty of project work. This is a fully office-based role and doesn't require a driving licence or any additional travel.

Role:* Provide 2nd line technical customer service for their in-house products* Perform in-House product installations for customers * Deal with general support through tickets, calls and emails * Be involved with Data Projects * Assist with the day-to-day support and administration of the hosted environments * Serve as an escalation point for the other engineers * Assist and cover 1st line support when required

Key Skills:* Proficient with Windows Servers Maintenance and Configuration * Experience with Back up technologies* Previous experience with Virtualisation Technologies - VMWare* Networking experience with Firewalls and general day-to-day troubleshooting * Previous experience in a Customer Support or Technical Support Analyst role * Experience with software ticketing systems and CRM* Ability to multitask and priorities tasks* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written * Ability to quickly learn and understand complex systems and software* Previous experience with SQL scripting is Advantageous!
