Are you a Mechanical Fitter looking for a an exciting new role building specialist equipment and bespoke machinery, where you will be joining a close-knit team working on specific machinery, and receive training and a clear routes for progression with the opportunity to work your way up the company?

This company have a brilliant opportunity to join a market leading manufacturer of specialist machinery, who have been established for over 40 years in providing an excellent service and due to recent growth they are now looking for a mechanical fitter to join their team.

In this hands on role you will be assembling and installing machinery in the workshop with a team of fitters, working with clients in a fast paced environment where you will be supplying into industries such as the Automotive, Aerospace, Medical and Plastics.

This role would suit a Mechanical Fitter who has experience in Automation or working with bespoke machinery that is looking for the next step in their career where you will be playing an integral role in this specialised team for this long standing company.

The Role:

• Building Special Purpose Machinery
• Ability to read and understand drawings
• Fitting and testing machinery
• Occasionally going to meet clients
• Monday - Thursday 9-5 Friday 8-1
• Install and approve machinery at customer sites

The Person:

• Experience with Automation machinery
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
• Apprenticeship Trained or relevant engineering qualifications
• Assembly experience
