As a Teacher of Science, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a love for the subject among students, encouraging their curiosity, and guiding them towards academic success. Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering engaging and effective science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, adhering to the national curriculum.
- Creating a stimulating and supportive learning environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
- Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing constructive feedback and tailored support to ensure every student reaches their full potential.
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop and share best practices, contributing to the continuous improvement of the science department.
- Participating in extracurricular activities and school events, enhancing the overall educational experience for students.
Candidate Requirements:
- A relevant degree in Science or a related field, along with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Demonstrable experience in teaching science at the secondary school level.
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to convey complex concepts in an accessible manner.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
- A commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for keeping up-to-date with the latest educational research and methodologies.
