Accelerate Teaching is delighted to present a remarkable opportunity for a dedicated and passionate Teacher of Science to join a dynamic secondary school in Bradford. As a Teacher of Science, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a love for the subject among students, encouraging their curiosity, and guiding them towards academic success. We are looking for a candidate with a proven track record of delivering high-quality science education, who is enthusiastic about developing and implementing innovative teaching strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering engaging and effective science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, adhering to the national curriculum.
  • Creating a stimulating and supportive learning environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
  • Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing constructive feedback and tailored support to ensure every student reaches their full potential.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to develop and share best practices, contributing to the continuous improvement of the science department.
  • Participating in extracurricular activities and school events, enhancing the overall educational experience for students.

Candidate Requirements:

  • A relevant degree in Science or a related field, along with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Demonstrable experience in teaching science at the secondary school level.
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to convey complex concepts in an accessible manner.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for keeping up-to-date with the latest educational research and methodologies.
