We're seeking an enthusiastic Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant for a part-time position at a school in Bradford, catering to children aged 2 to 19 across various classroom settings from Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 4. Roles & Responsibilities:
- Previous experience in schools with SEN students or relevant transferable skills.
- Demonstrated patience, enthusiasm, and professionalism.
- Ability to handle children with challenging behaviours.
- Confidence, punctuality, and a desire for continual learning.
- Effective behaviour management and the establishment of positive learning relationships with SEN students.
- Experience working with small groups and offering 1:1 support.
Requirements:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience working with young people, preferably in a school setting.
- Willingness to undergo necessary training.
- Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one through Randstad.
- Team player mentality.
- Eligibility to work in the UK (no sponsorship provided).
- Excellent attendance and punctuality.
