We are currently seeking an experienced Engineering Customer Support Technician to join a dynamic and forward thinking company in Holsworthy, Devon. As an Engineering  Customer Support Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing technical support and assistance to their Customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Responding to customer inquiries and providing technical support through various channels, including phone, email, and chat
  • Troubleshooting hardware and software issues, diagnosing problems, and implementing effective solutions
  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining computer systems and software
  • Assisting with network setup and administration tasks
  • Collaborating with other IT professionals to resolve complex technical issues
  • Documenting customer interactions and solutions in a clear and concise manner
  • Providing training and guidance to customers on the proper use of software and hardware
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies

As an experienced Engineering Technician you will be able to communicate technical advice to Customers and Clients at all levels.

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar IT support role
  • Proven knowledge of hardware and software troubleshooting
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Experience in providing technical support to customers
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

Have you got Industry certifications, such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and Experience with remote desktop software and ticketing systems?
