Duties
- Supervise and manage the catering team, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.
- Coordinate food production and preparation for various events, ensuring timely delivery and presentation.
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards throughout all catering processes.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their catering needs and preferences, ensuring satisfaction with service provided.
- Train and mentor staff in food preparation techniques, customer service, and operational procedures.
- Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and client feedback.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock.
- Ensure that all catering equipment is properly maintained and cleaned after each event.
Experience
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or catering industry.
- Strong background in food production, preparation, and safety practices.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively while fostering a positive work environment.
- Experience in restaurant or catering operations is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of bartending practices is a plus but not essential.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact positively with clients and team members alike.
