Head Chef - Private Members Club, London - £60k plus bonus & service charge
We are looking for an experienced Head Chef to lead an incredible team in one of London's most beautiful venues, with the role very quickly progressing into a multi-site role as the business grows in 2024.
Overseeing both the events side of the business and the day-to-day offering, you will be tasked with the smooth running of both kitchens. Ensuring that the food is always delivered to the highest standard, you will also be responsbile for menu design and implementation, as well as ensuring food safety, hygeine and kitchen admin are all in place and adhered too.
As a naturally fluid business, the management of rotas and staffing levels is key to the success of the role, with client requirements always being at the forefront. Financial understanding and developing your team are also key focusses, as you will be joining a close-knit, family of people.
You will need:
· Experience as a Head Chef in a recognised quality environment
· Minimum of 5 years' chef experience in a restaurant kitchen
· NVQ Level 2 in Food Preparation & Cookery (or equivalent)
· Comprehensive knowledge of food allergens and competency in maintaining safety in relation to these
· Be punctual, focused, well organised, reliable and have a positive attitude
· Possess excellent communication skills, the ability to work a variety of shifts and an understanding of food hygiene legislation
· You will need stamina and skill to ensure our guests receive an exceptional dining experience
