My client are a leading, established accounting practice who continually attract new business across their service lines.

They currently seek an Assistant Manager to join their growing team. This is a varied role where you will manage all aspects of accounts, client support and audit if you have this experience. You will support more junior members of the team and support their development.

Key areas of responsibility will include:

  • manage a dedicated portfolio of clients, preparing full accounts compliant to financial accounting standards.
  • ensure accurate and high quality work within given time-frames.
  • develop and sustain strong client relationships, whilst identifying opportunities for future business.
  • support client audits and build on / develop your experience in this area.
  • mentor and manage junior team members offering ongoing guidance and support.

Successful candidates will be qualified, ideally ACCA / ACA, with relevant practical experience gained in a practice environment. You will have the skills to work independently, support the senior management team and develop the team. There is real opportunity to develop through the business for the right candidate. The role is predominantly office based, with some travel to clients and some flexible working.
