Due to continued growth, our highly respected and established Engineering client in Bridgend is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join their innovative engineering team on a permanent basis.
This is a key hire for the company, where you will play a leading role in the design, development and testing of electrical control systems for their niche product range.

Key Responsibilities:
- Write control specifications for new products or modifications to existing products.
- Design electrical circuits required for the development and production of existing and new products.
- Generate build documentation and parts lists
- Draft detailed commissioning procedures.
- Liaise with end users and relevant contractors to ensure the correct design, test, and installation of systems.
- Participate in the investigation of problems arising from testing or operational use in the field.
- Contribute to the evolving Design Standards.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
- Qualified to HND or preferably degree level in Electrical and / or Electronic Engineering.
- Strong electrical / controls / automation engineering background.
- Experienced in the full product life cycle
- Experience of safety standards (12100, 60204 and 13849).
- Experience of electrical drawing packages (for example, ePLAN).
- Practical experience of electrical builds and use of diagnostic tools.
