Water Treatment Engineer

Salary: £28,000 - £30,000

Location: Remote position in Birmingham

Hunter Mason’s client:

Hunter Mason’s client is a well-established water treatment & hygiene company, working up and down the UK on a mixed range of customer sites. The ideal candidate will have considerable experience working within the water treatment industry, undertaking all relevant maintenance, monitoring, repair, sampling and analysis of water treatment treatment systems.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Will have good working knowledge of the Water treatment industry and will have experience working within the industry, ideally as an water treatment engineer.
  • Will have extensive experience working on a mixed portfolio of sites.
  • Will have extensive knowledge of relevant Health & Safety & other regulatory legislation.
  • Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately
  • Proficient in using Microsoft office.

The Role:

  • Undertaking routine temperature monitoring and water sampling - ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Carrying out water treatment assessments / analysis on closed systems & chemical dosing.
  • Carry out routine maintenance and cleaning of water treatment systems.
  • Identify and rectify any issues or potential risks related to water quality.
  • Install, repair, and maintain water treatment equipment.
  • Use power tools and hand tools as necessary for the job.
  • Provide recommendations for improving water treatment practices.
  • Ensuring that all works are being carried out within ACOP L8 and relevant health and safety guidelines.
  • Using information from the site to produce detailed reports for clients.
  • Building and maintaining good working relationships with clients.
  • Alternative Job titles: Alternative Job titles: Water treatment Engineer, Trainee Water treatment Engineer, Environmental treatment Engineer.
